What is Xero backup?
 

A daily snapshot of your Xero data is captured each evening at 7pm and sent to your own secure cloud storage.

Unlimited backup versions can be stored and accessed ensuring that if data loss was to occur due to an error at Xero or from within your accounting team lost transactions and other data can be retrieved and re-entered into Xero.

How is data restored?
 

Xero does not allow for the efficient direct restoration of data back into its system. The backed up data is available to enable you to search and view any data if for any reason it is lost/deleted in Xero or the Xero system is temporarily unavailable.
